Boots off for Rugby Recycled

Scrum5ive Rugby Recycled are looking for schools, clubs and academies to look inside their kit bags, store cupboards and containers to see if there is any boots, kit or equipment that is now surplus to requirements so that we can donate it to other clubs and schools that can make use of it and get more rugby players on the field.

As the season comes to a close in the home of the World Champions, Scrum5ive Rugby Recycled are looking for schools, clubs and academies to look inside their kit bags, store cupboards and containers to see if there is any boots, kit or equipment that is now surplus to requirements so that we can donate it to other clubs and schools that can make use of it and get more rugby players on the field.

Andy Daniel, owner of Scrum5ive is especially asking for boots smaller than Size 10 as the Rugby Recycled project is lacking the ability to help younger boys and girls have access to boots that would encourage them to get on to the rugby pitch.

‘Many schools that we visit do not only have many players that can’t afford boots but they are short of simple equipment that many would take for granted. A small stack of cones for instance can mark out a pitch or playing area, whilst water bottles can ensure that the players can stay on the field longer in the hot pre-season.’

If you do have any of these items available to donate then please do contact us:
