Eddie Jones has selected his match day 23 to face South Africa on Saturday and his choices have thrown up quite a few surprises.
Dylan Hartley has been selected ahead of Jamie George to start as he co-captains the side with Owen Farrell who will start ahead of George Ford in the fly-half shirt.
Newcastle’s Mark Wilson will take the Number 8 shirt ahead of Zach Mercer who will also have to settle for a place on the bench.
Manu Tuilagi does return to the match day squad but it is Ben Te’o and Henry Slade that get the nod in the centres despite Te’o having only played 28 minutes of rugby this season.
